Some of my favorite creative brains put their heads together to create this vision and I was so happy to be included as the photographer.

The theme was elevated garden picnic, and wow, it was such a blast to capture. Picture bright summer florals, the groom rocking a bold gold suit, and a few disco balls scattered throughout for some playful sparkle. The couple started their afternoon with a cozy, intimate picnic on the back deck of one of Stay Treetops’ private A-frame cabins. Later, the sun dipped lower and bathed the real-life couple in golden light as they exchanged heartfelt love letters. The night wrapped up with them cutting into a cutie wedding cake while snuggled up on the couch.

One of my favorite parts of this shoot was how personal and untraditional the whole vibe felt. It was a perfect reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to follow a set script—it can (and should!) be exactly what you want it to be.
